Herpes will not Stop Braun from MVP Dinner/Speech

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun hopefully will not be using any type of medication tonight before he performs in front of MLB officials and people to accept his National League MVP trophy. Pending a 50-game suspension that the MLB may possibly give him for his failed PED test last season, Braun will be honored, at least tonight, by the Baseball Writers of America for his remarkable statistic season.

Braun will appear at the annual awards dinner of the Baseball Writers' Association of America on Saturday in New York, a spokesman for the player told The New York Times. "He will be there and he will accept his award," Matthew Hiltzik told The Times.

As being first to report on the failed test due to Herpes medication bit of gossip, I have realized that all the facts point that it was some type of embarrassing reason that Braun had failed the "B.S." (says Braun) PED test this season. Which would explain why he is in such a conondrum and won't speak to the public about something he has appealed.

(Is it not ironic how Ryan Braun still has a shot at losing (he won't) his MVP due to Herpes and Rihanna's ex-BF (Matt Kemp) would have gotten it?)

He is expected to give a speech Saturday at the dinner. We will all be listening, and hoping, to hear a reason.
