College Football player suspended due to Twitter

The state of Kentucky may not know much about this "Twitter" thing, but they do know they don't like their players criticizing the people who pay to see a miserable team. Western Kentucky became aware of one of their players criticizing their fans via Twitter and do not like it one bit.

Western Kentucky running back Antonio Andrews was feeling confident and self-righteous mood today after their big double overtime victory, 36-33, over Middle Tennessee State on Saturday. Going to his Twitter to tweet about his joy. In doing so, he also had a criticism to get off his chest about his home fan base in Kentucky. Questioning their loyalty to their program, unlike the Kentucky Wildcats' fan base. Especially since, he believes, their own fan base ''said we suck and will never win a game.''

Well they won on Saturday, so in their faces. But Andrews lost on Monday when head coach Willie Taggart became aware of this tweet. Suspending him for one game, Taggart said Monday ''our policy is that you don't do anything that's going to bring a negative perspective on our football team.'' The coach doesn't  ''mind (his) guys using (Twitter), but use it in a positive way.'' Andrews has since delete the tweet and his Twitter is private (I'm unaware if it has always been).

Western Kentucky is now 1-4 this season.

What is worse, getting suspended for speaking on Twitter or speaking to TMZ about Kim Kardashian and "making bread?"
